1. SO HOW DO WE GET THE BALL ROLLING WITH BOOKING OUR WEDDING?

I book a limited amount of weddings a year and do not take provisional bookings.

Therefore, your booking fee and completed booking form is how we secure your wedding day.

Your balance is then due one week before your wedding day unless we’ve discussed a payment plan.

When your booking is confirmed you will receive a list of recommended wedding suppliers and a portrait session prep guide to help you get the most out of your engagement session, should you book one.

Once we have discussed times and venues at our consultation I will put a little timeline together for your convenience.

2. WHY IS THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION SO IMPORTANT?

If your wedding day is the main show, the engagement session is the opening act. Warming us up for the big day.

The engagement session plays a vital role in breaking the ice between you, me and the camera.

Many people find being in front of the camera a very daunting experience - feeling awkward and unphotogenic.

These feelings are evident in your photos.

Helping you overcome this lends towards more natural wedding photos as I direct you into more natural and easy poses, showing you just how beautiful you really are.

3. DO YOU TRAVEL AND WHAT ARE YOUR COSTS?

Absolutely yes!

I love travelling and I love capturing beautiful wedding stories.

It would be amazing to document your wedding day in a place that holds such importance in your lives.

30km of travel is covered in all my collections.

Thereafter R6 per km is added to the total amount of your wedding.

A wedding taking place outside of Eastern Cape may require flights and car hire, which will be discussed at our consult.

4. DO YOU REQUIRE ACCOMMODATION?

If your wedding is 1 hour or more outside of East London then accommodation is required the night of the wedding.

If your wedding is more than 200km outside of East London then I will also require accommodation the night before the wedding.

I will discuss whether accommodation needed during our consult.

5. HOW DO WE GO ABOUT THE WEDDING ALBUM LAYOUT??

Your fine art album is laid out and designed by me once you have your images.

You will be presented with the draft and are given two complimentary rounds of image swop outs in the layout.

Thereafter layout fees will apply per change.

6. HOW MUCH TIME DO WE NEED ON THE DAY FOR PHOTOS?

After our consult I created a flexible timeline of the time pertaining to my services.

This gives you a general idea of how your day will flow and how much time w can allocate to family photos,

bridal party photos and bridal couple photos.

7. can you recommend a videographer?

I work with many highly recommended videographers. Once you confirm your booking you will receive a list of recommended suppliers including videographers.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

The turnaround time is up to four weeks depending on workload and season.

The kind of editing that I apply to your images such as skin smoothing and minor blemish removal takes quite a bit of time,

is extensive and is definitely something we don’t want to rush.

Once you have your images we can start on that beautiful fine art album.
