Now that you've looked at the kind of photography I offer, let me tell you a bit about myself.

This is not a story of qualifications or degrees in photography, that is not how my story began.

My photography career has been a long exciting journey of being self taught.

Photography is a passion of mine that started at a young age, when I packed a film camera into my backpack & travelled.

That camera eventually broke around time that digital photography was born & so a new journey began!

I  have a growing collection of old film cameras that I love shooting with.

In addition to being a professional photographer there are quirks, loves, fancies & minor OCD tendencies that  make me who I am,

that influence the way in which I interpret scenes & find creative expression.

I am based in East London, sunny South Africa, where we experience the most beautiful light, with my husband, our beautiful daughter, two cats and a dog.

I adore the Festive Season, my perfect Christmas gift would be a string of fairy lights!

I have an absolute obsession with F1 racing. I ask no forgiveness for this.

I love travelling, getting back to nature, a firm believer in caring for our planet, rainy days & beautiful light. I adore the simple things - I am my Granny's child in that way.

Photographing in a documentary, story telling kind of way is what I strive for.

Yes, the posed photos have to be created and are necessary but its the in-between moments, the vibe, that I know we will look back with even fonder memories.
